Vanguard Zombies Update Skips Server Pause and Adds Weapons | Games | Entertainment

Developers Treyarch have confirmed that they have many exciting plans ahead for Vanguard Zombies, including new support weapons and survival gameplay for Shi No Numa.

All of this will be uploaded as part of a big package covering Call of Duty Vanguard and Call of Duty Warzone later this week.

The release date has been set for 5 a.m. on January 12 for many players, although it won’t include all of the new features promised.

Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that there will be no dedicated server break option available to fans this week, explaining in a new statement:

“Let’s be honest… moving Zombies to a fully hosted infrastructure on dedicated servers for the first time in a new engine was not a smooth experience.

“In the past, traditional Zombies lobbies operated on player-hosted servers, which were often subject to a myriad of issues, depending on the player’s connection and several other factors. While the gameplay experience should now be smoother for matches of all sizes on dedicated servers in Vanguard, the process of pausing said servers for private solo and solo matches is not as straightforward as it is. ” press a switch.

Sledgehammer also has big plans for the new survival gameplay, telling fans this week:

“Advance to the Void in ‘Shi No Numa’, where you’ll progress through the rounds, defeating endless waves of increasingly difficult undead, just like in traditional zombies from previous games.

“Eliminate the current wave of zombies and the ride goes up. Upgrade your Pack-a-Punch machine weapon, grind those camos, and survive as long as you can. You know the chorus.

“Once you have completed 3 turns in the Void, you will be faced with two choices: flee or survive. If you choose to stay and fight, you will gain 5,000 bonus Essences for every 3 rounds you survive in the Void.

“If you complete 12 or more rounds you will earn a one-time reward that will prevent your perks from dropping below Level II each time you descend for the remainder of the match!” Survive long enough, and you might even discover new details about the next step in the story.

“Once the portal to the Void has been opened, it will never close during your match. When you are ready to return to Stalingrad to improve your perks and alliances, you can leave after surviving 3 turns and return at any time.
