Shiba Inu’s BONE strike and BONE reward distribution on ShibaSwap officially ends as current BONE supply reaches 230 million.

The ShibaSwapDEX Twitter handle recently announced that the minting of Bone ShibaSwap, the governance token of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, is officially ending as BONE’s total supply reaches 230 million. As a result, BONE Rewards on ShibaSwap has also come to an end.

The maximum bid for Bone ShibaSwap is set at 250 million. The remaining 20E tokens are for Shibarium validators.

The BONE mint has been officially stopped and the BONE rewards on ShibaSwap come to an end as Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) now reaches a total supply cap of 230 million. No more BONE tokens will be minted from now on, except as a reward for shibarium Validators.

It should be noted that Bone ShibaSwap was initially launched with a maximum supply limit of 250 million tokens. Since Bone ShibaSwap was selected for use as a “gas” on the Shibarium protocol, it is configured to provide the functionality needed to process/execute smart contracts and transactions on the Shibarium protocol.

Of these 250 million tokens, via Doggy DAO, the Shiba Inu community has decided to stop BONE ShibaSwap rewards after reaching 230 million so that the Shiba Inu team can keep the remaining 20 million tokens for Shibarium validators.

Remember that once the full minting of 250 million BONE tokens is completed, a new ShibaSwap reward token named “TREAT” will be introduced, replacing BONE for rewards on ShibaSwap, as per the announcement published in July by the Shiba Inu manager, Shytoshi Kusama. However, few details about the TREAT token are still known other than its name and its role in the Shiba ecosystem.
