Rust Console Update and Server Cleanup Countdown | Games | Entertainment

PS4 and Xbox One gamers are about to get a major console update Rust that will bring some big changes to the base game.

As confirmed by Double Eleven on YouTube and Twitter, this week’s Devastation Unleashed patch will be released after the server is regularly cleared.

This takes place on Thursday, November 25, with many actions planned once the deployment is complete.

And since Rust server erasures typically start at 7 p.m. GMT, that’s when we expect the new update to arrive.

Once the dust settles, players will notice several new features and content, including the new tech tree, 3km larger maps, new building blocks, gestures, gun handling adjustments, aid to aiming and a host of quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

The Tech Tree will be one of the biggest upheavals as it will fundamentally change the way players progress.

Following this week’s update, players will unlock the items they need most by collecting trash and building a workbench.

This will access the level 1 tech tree, and from there players will use their junk to unlock different branches of items depending on the playstyle chosen.

Another post from Double Eleven explains, “Players can still search the search table for items as they could before, so there are now multiple progression paths.

“The goal of adding Tech Trees is to bring the game more in line with the core Rust experience by adding more depth to the system than we had so far. This will give everyone more variety on the ways they can play the game! With the addition of the tech tree, a blueprint erase will be required for all servers.

Here are some of the other features planned for the Rust Console Edition update:

New building blocks are also added with this update to expand our community’s creativity in base building! Triangular Roofs, Triangular Ladder Hatch, Triangular Floor Frame, Spiral Staircase, Triangular Spiral Staircase, Handrail, and Steps are all some of the new building blocks players can build. Some of them can really help you design that “perfect” base by making it even more efficient and harder to loot.

Devastation Unleashed also includes the new ‘Gestures’ feature, which allows players to perform various emotes by opening the radial menu and browsing through the different options to better express themselves and communicate with others in the game. one at a distance, try to “wave” and see what happens.
