Lost Ark devs are closely monitoring server populations and wait times as over a million people pour into the game

Amazon has announced that it will lift character creation limits on lost ark servers to allow new players to join servers they may not have been able to access before.

Speaking in a forum post (thanks massively), it was said that server populations and wait times are being closely monitored so that character creation limits can come back as queues are starting to grow.

It was noted, however, that the list of servers with account limits “may change frequently” and that you will need to restart your client in order to access a server with a newly lifted limit.

It was said that the goal was always to reduce wait times and hopefully that would help some players join their friends on more servers.

When the doors to the servers finally opened to free players after “deployment issues” caused a delay, the servers were bombarded with an influx of players. This caused huge wait times for those hoping to jump into the MMO.

And speaking of influxes, at press time there are 1,140,598 players in the game, which is an all-time high for the game. waiting will be resolved.
