Final Fantasy XIV recently had the massive 6.2 update which brought long-awaited features like the island sanctuary. Now that the update has been around for a few weeks, the team behind the game has had plenty of time to work on the patches and bug fixes that 6.2 needs. Fortunately, the game is currently in a fairly stable state, but there are still a few issues that could cause you problems under specific circumstances.
As this fix is being implemented globally, this unfortunately means that all worlds will need to go offline for a period of time to ensure everything is working properly. We will give you all the details on the duration of FFXIV break time is scheduled to last, and at what time Server Maintenance will begin and end.
According to a post on the official website Final Fantasy 14 website, server maintenance will last eight hours. Here are the scheduled start and end times for each region:
- PDT: 7 p.m. to September 13 at 3 a.m.
- EDT: 10 p.m. to September 13 at 6 a.m.
- IT IS : 4 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- JST: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
It is important to note that the Home World Transfer Service and Data Center Moving System will also be taken offline 30 minutes before the start of server maintenance and will remain offline for the duration. We’ll let you know what 6.21 Patch Notes are as soon as they’re revealed, so be sure to keep checking back here.
