For Honor Update 2.36.2 Patch Notes and Server Maintenance Today (June 23)

Ubisoft has confirmed the full server maintenance schedule for the latest For Honor update on June 23, which will bring significant adjustments to the Conqueror Hero, as well as new bug fixes.

Today’s patch will be deployed shortly before 10am ET, but the game’s servers will be taken offline before the update is released. So here’s everything you need to know about For Honor’s latest update, including the official downtime schedule and patch notes.

For Honor server maintenance schedule for Thursday, June 23

As confirmed via the official For Honor Twitter account, the game’s servers will be taken offline for a short period of server maintenance on Thursday, June 23. This will allow developers to release the new 2.36.2 patch for all supported platforms.

DUALSHOCKERS VIDEO OF THE DAY

Today’s maintenance will begin at 9 a.m. ET / 1 p.m. UTC and will affect PlayStation, Xbox, and PC users. The downtime should last a total of 45 minutes, but can be shortened or extended by the developers if needed.

Players will then be prompted to download a new patch, which comes in at 7.6MB on all platforms. The full patch notes for the June 23 For Honor update can be found later in this article.

Below are the official patch notes for June 23rd. For honor update, which brings the game to version 2.36.2 with the following changes:

IMPROVEMENTS

FIGHTERS

CONQUEROR

  • Decreased Flail Uppercut and Scutage Collection damage to 13 (from 17 and 16 respectively)
  • Reduced Chained Infinite Heavies damage to 22 damage (down from 27)
  • All light side attacks have smaller trajectories
  • Flail Uppercut no longer causes a stun that makes the next heavy attack impossible to dodge

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that prevented rewards from being granted after a Justice of Pharaohs match when playing PvsAI Matchmaking OFF

IMPROVEMENTS

FIGHTERS

Pirate

  • Big Horseman (Side Dodge Heavy)
    • are now 600 ms (instead of 533 ms)
  • walk on the plank
    • Walk the Plank range reduced by 0.5m
    • The forward movement of the Walk the Plank’s Top version is reduced to be the same as the Side versions
    • Walk the Plank pin cooldown is now 1500ms (down from 1300ms)
    • Pistol Blast from Walk the Plank now powers 30 revenge (was 5)
    • Pistol Blast from Walk the Plank now costs 6 stamina (down from 15)
    • Pistol Blast on block/miss’s range has been reduced by 0.5m

Conqueror

Full block position

  • Can now be used to negate recovery from any attack
  • Now allows stamina regeneration after 300ms
  • Cooldown is now 300ms (down from 200ms)
  • No longer gains less revenge while in full block stance
  • Stamina is no longer depleted when blocking attacks in full block stance
  • Can no longer cancel itself into an area attack
  • Can now cast Flail Uppercut and Scutage Collection when blocking an attack

Flail Uppercut

  • Now performed by pressing Heavy after an overblock or shield hit
  • No longer inescapable
  • Can now be parried
  • Now deals 17 damage (down from 20)
  • can run

NEW MOVEMENT: Scutage Collection

  • Performed by pressing Light after an upper block or shield hit
  • Deals 15 damage
  • Costs 9 Stamina
  • 360 degree trajectory
  • 466ms to hit locked target, 566ms total duration (like most area attacks, it can hit opponents after hitting its primary target)

area attack

  • Now deals 15 damage (down from 8)
  • Can no longer be held
  • No longer has the upper block
  • Now initiates chains

Opening Heavy Attacks

  • Superior version now deals 27 damage (down from 24)
  • Side versions now deal 24 damage (down from 22)
  • Loaded builds are now all 700ms (up from 800ms for top)
  • Charged builds now need to charge for 600ms to get the Unblockable (down from 1000ms)
  • Charged versions now deal 28 damage (down from 32 top and 30 side)
  • Removed Superior Block property
  • Conqueror can no longer block while charging a heavy attack.
  • Removed soft feint for Shield Uppercut
  • Can now be faked

Chained Heavy Attacks

  • Superior Chained Heavy Attack now lasts 800ms (was 900ms)
  • All sides are now unblockable
  • Improved weapon trajectories on side versions to have more range
  • Removed soft feint for Shield Uppercut
  • Can now be faked

Dodge Shield Bash

  • No longer drains stamina
  • No longer interrupts stamina regeneration
  • Now chains with Flail Uppercut or Scutage Collection on hit

Shield Bash mix (used in chains)

  • No longer drains stamina
  • No longer interrupts stamina regeneration
  • Now chains with Flail Uppercut or Scutage Collection on hit
  • Now costs 10 stamina
  • Can now be faked

Shaolin

Qi Stance Attacks

  • Can now cancel Qi Stance with a dodge
  • Amazing Flower attacks now last 500ms (down from 700ms)
  • Amazing flower attacks are now improved
  • Top Amazing Flower no longer stuns
  • Elegant Lotus attacks now last 700ms (was 1000ms from the top and 600ms from the sides)
  • Top Elegant Lotus is now undodgeable (no longer unblockable)
  • Sun Kick now chains on miss
  • Sun Kick Strike now lasts 400ms (down from 300ms)
  • Sun Kick no longer chains to swipe
  • Qi Stance Light, Heavy, and Sun Kick Strike now chain to Sun Sweep
  • Sun Sweep is now 800ms (was 700ms)
  • Sunsweep can be faked
  • Sun Sweep no longer unbalances allies
  • Sun Sweep recovery now finds defense in the final 300ms
  • Sun Sweep now has a dedicated tracking move

New move: Intensive Sun Sweep Tracking

  • Sun Sweep Heavy Followup is performed by pressing the Heavy button
  • Is 700ms
  • Costs 12 stamina points
  • Deals 24 damage
  • Initiates chains and can enter Qi Stance

Side dodge attacks

  • Now initiate the chains
  • Now can enter Qi Stance
  • Now have more movement, front and side

New Move: Flying Monkey Variation

  • Performed by pressing Guard Break from Front Dodge
  • Is a 500ms melee attack
  • Performed at 300ms to 500ms of Front Dodge
  • Chains neutral light or heavy attacks on hit or miss

Light opening attacks

  • Top Light opener is now improved
  • Side Light opening combos now deal 10-4-4 damage (was 5-5-7)
  • Side Light opening combos no longer require strict timing to execute

Heavy opening and chained attacks

  • Attack range increased for all opening and chained heavy attacks
  • Improved trajectories on heavy side attacks
  • All non-Finisher heavy attack recoveries normalized to 800ms

area attack

  • 2nd hit is now 800ms (down from 500ms)
  • 3rd hit is now 900ms (down from 400ms)
  • The stamina cost is now 20 for the first hit, 20 for the second and 20 for the third (instead of 60 for the first, 0 for the others)
  • 2nd hit now deals 15 damage (down from 12)
  • 3rd hit now deals 18 damage
  • Can now switch targets between area attack hits
  • Improved trajectories
  • Fixed an issue that caused the area attack to not properly hit minions
  • 3rd hit now wins the defense within the last 300ms of its recovery

EXPERIENCES

Bloodthirsty Adjustments

  • Now gives +20% damage dealt (down from +50%)
  • Now gives -20% damage taken (down from -50%)
  • Cooldown is now 20 seconds (down from 30 seconds)
