Saturday’s new cases came from 9,874 tests carried out the previous day, according to the bulletin.
Eight deaths and 1,652 Covid cases were recorded in the city on Wednesday with a positivity rate of 9.92%.
On Tuesday, the nation’s capital reported 917 Covid cases with a positivity rate of 19.20% and three deaths from the infection.
As of Monday, the city had recorded 1,227 cases with a positivity rate of 14.57%, while eight people died from the disease.
Before that, the city had recorded more than 2,000 cases a day for 12 consecutive days.
